The good folks at Chess Performance, headquartered at the chess center, are in the process of forming a new nonprofit entity, in order to serve the chess community even better.

In the meantime, the chess center will continue to be a comfy, quiet venue for players of all skill levels...

sets & clocks are provided, as are snacks & drinks
library of 250+ books & magazines
a "Kentucky Hall of Fame" display honors and preserves the state's chess history
